Jamaica Jericho March

LG_Map of JamaicaDates: May, 2010 in Kingston, Jamaica

A group from Beacon Missions International, as well as Jamaican National and Church Leaders will circumnavigate the Nation seven times - four (4) via air, two (2) via land, one (1) via sea.  Simultaneously, there will be organized community marches taking place across the Nation along with a closing ceremony that will be nationally televised.

The purpose of this Jericho March is the break down the spiritual strongholds (the walls), thus unifying the people, churches and national leadership.

The vision for this march was given by God to Scott Pitts (Founder/Chairman) of Beacon Missions International.  The vision was given in January 2009 while attending an Apostolic Leadership Conference.

Jamaican BaptismGod placed a love for the people of Jamaica on Scott's heart in 1992 when he first visited.  In 2004 God called Scott and his wife, Carol, to start a ministry in Jamaica (Jamaica Tres Dias).  Today they have successfully carried out this calling and the ministry is now being managed by a Jamaican Board of Directors.

In this vision, God spoke and asked Scott & Carol to organize and conduct a National Jericho March around the Nation.  Just as God honored the call for Joshua, we are believing that God will honor this calling and will fulfill His plan for the Nation of Jamaica.

Words to Live By

The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is upon me, for the Lord has anointed me to bring good news to the poor.  He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed.

Isaiah 61:1 NLT

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
