In April of this year we experienced God’s hand at work in what seemed to be a random way. This experience has now forever changed our lives, as a result of this encounter we are in the process of building an orphanage/school/church in South Vietnam. To accomplish this mission, God is calling His army together. We will be recruiting Vietnam Veterans to help build this project. We believe that the hearts of these Vietnam Veterans will be changed and they will forever be set free. As a result there will be countless children that will be provided for, loved, educated and raised to have an authentic relationship with Christ. This commitment is life-long. We will need support not only for the construction but also for the ongoing operating expenses. The plans are for the project to include a school and to provide medical and dental care. The building will also double as a church, the first persons to convert to Christianity in this village did so only five years ago and it has been very difficult up to now for any sustainable growth. We need each and every person reading this story to pitch in and to somehow support Gods call to the children in South Vietnam. We are His Body and He is calling us to care for His children. We have a trip planned for March 2010 to begin the process and to pray over the property and the village. We will be given the opportunity to meet the children of the village, many of whom we will be caring for in the months and years to come. I would welcome the opportunity of sharing the details of this story with you, please call and let’s talk about where God may be placing you to support this call. |
